TO THE VIRGINIAN ON-LINE HOUSING RESERVATION SYSTEM
The Virginian Memorial
Day Soccer Tournament is pleased to announce that tournament housing reservations
will be available on-line. You will have two options to reserve your place
on the wait list this year. You may make your reservation either with
or without hotel choices at this time.
HOTEL AND FIELD
ASSIGNMENTS
Hotels will be assigned beginning April 6, 2009, based on your date of
reservation and availability. IMPORTANT: All teams MUST review
their hotel requests once field assignments are posted on the Virginian
website (on or around mid January), and all teams must complete their
final review and hotel selection by April 5, 2009.
CLUB BOOKINGS
Clubs requiring a large block of rooms for multiple teams should contact
Certified Travel for special assistance.
CREDIT CARD INFORMATION
Once entered, credit card information is "masked" in the system,
so you can give team members access to the account without worrying about
anyone seeing someone else's credit card information. By having individual
card-holders log into the system with your email address and password,
they can then enter their individual credit card information securely
and directly.

1) RESERVE
YOUR PLACE ON THE WAIT LIST WITHOUT HOTEL CHOICES
If you want to wait
until field assignments are announced to choose your hotels, but want
to place your team on the date-ordered wait list, take the following steps:
a)
Click link above, "Reserve your place on the wait list without
hotel choices."
b) Select your reservation dates and number of rooms needed,
up to 18 on a single
reservation.
c) Proceed straight to "Book" in the first section
where it says "choose no hotel selection at this
time."
d) Click on the "continue to contact information" button
at bottom right corner of screen to
create your account.
e) Create your account or log into an existing account. The next
screens will lead you through
setting up a personalized team account and password. Once you have an
account set up with Certified Travel, you can use your chosen email
address and password to set up future reservations in the years to come,
as well as view and manage your reservation for this year. This account
will offer your team access to your reservations 24/7.
f) After entering your team information (name, age group, gender), choose
"no hotel selection
at this time" as your alternate hotel selections 2,3,4 & 5.
All of this information is stored in our system along with your date
of reservation.
g) Manage your rooming list. The "My Account" system
allows teams to enter individual names
on the rooming list, adjust arrival and departure dates, remove and/or
add rooms, and enter credit card information for individual rooms. All
of this can be done either at the time of the initial hotel request,
or teams can log in later to fill in their detailed information.
a)
Select your dates and number of rooms
Click the link above. You will be asked to select your reservation dates
and the number of rooms needed, up to 18 on a single reservation. Once
you submit this information, you will be taken to a screen with a hotel
list showing rate, area location and amenities. A picture of each hotel
can be seen by placing your mouse over the hotel name. Click on the
hotel name to view the hotel address and amenities.
b) Review the hotel choices - make your top hotel selection
On this hotel list screen, you will select your top hotel choice. All
hotels are listed as "To Be Requested" as this is a wait list
reservation. Click the "Book" button; then, click the "continue
to contact information" button.
c) Create your account with Certified Travel or log into an existing
account
The next screens will lead you through setting up a personalized team

future reservations in the years to come, as well as view and manage
your reservation for this year. This account will offer your team access
